There is a shuttle bus connection between Airport of Ljubljana and Ljubljana Bus/Train Station. From Ljubljana Bus/Train Station you can reach Postojna by bus (timetable) or train (timetable) – both take about one hour.

Visas
Slovenia is executing provisions of the Schengen legal system, covering the area of visa policy and the prevention of illegal immigration. The weather in Postojna in late August is generally fair with temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. The average temperature in August is about 20 degrees Celsius. However, there are high mountains around, and the weather may change quickly to cold and rainy, so be prepared. Light hiking gear is recommended for the mid-conference excursion.
