The Call for papers is now closed.
The organizers of the 20th ICSB welcome oral and poster presentations from all areas of subterranean biology. Both types of contributions require submitting an abstract till 1st June 2010. Abstracts will only be accepted if at least one author is registered for the Conference.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS
Oral presentations are limited to 20 minutes (discussion time included). Standard computer presentation equipment will be available. The preferable presentation format is PowerPoint Presentation (ppt). If you wish to use other formats or programs, or if you need additional equipment, please consult the organizer.
POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Posters shall be presented and discussed in the poster session, but can be left on display during the entire duration of the conference. The maximum size for posters is 90 cm wide by 140 cm high.
ABSTRACTS
To submit your abstract, please use this abstract submission form. Please write or paste the abstract text into the abstract box and answer the questions below. Fully filled forms should be e-mailed to abstract@icsb2010.net as an e-mail attachment no later than 1st June 2010. All registered participants will receive a printed abstract volume.
The International Society of Subterranean Biology encourages submitting research and review papers, either on the topic of conference presentations or other, to Subterranean Biology, the official journal of the Society. The journal’s instructions to authors are available at http://www.fi.cnr.it/sibios/subtbiol.htm.
BEST POSTER AND BEST ORAL PRESENTATION AWARD
Students and young scientists (PhD December 2007 or later) are invited to compete for the Best poster and the Best oral presentation award sponsored by the ISSB. To enter the competition, please mark the appropriate field on the abstract submission form.
